Mental Health Service in East Berkshire

East Berkshire Safe haven is an out of hours crisis support service run by Mental Health Matters (MHM) in partnership with the mental health crisis team.  They opened in Slough in April 2022 and offer free mental health support to anyone aged over 18.

They can be found at 54 High Street, Slough, SL1 1BZ – covering Bracknell, Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead.

They provide a relaxed and informal environment with refreshments. They offer time to talk, think and simply “be” in a calming environment during a crisis.  Service Users will receive one to one support. Individuals accessing the service do not need to have accessed the Adult Mental Health Services prior to attending. They offer a walk-in and virtual service for anyone who is experiencing: emotional distress; mental health crisis; suicidal ideation; self-harming behaviours; general wellbeing issues; or needing to offload.
