Test results

Getting your test results

You may be asked by the doctor or nurse to contact us for the results of your blood test, urine sample or X-ray.

If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.

Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:

  • in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
  • in your Patient Access account
  • by phoning us on 01344 286264 and we will tell you what the results are Monday to Friday after 11am

If a follow up hasn’t been requested by one of our GPs, then patients will need to call back at 8am to arrange an appointment.

Please note, if a test was requested by a third party, including hospital clinicians, Binfield Surgery wont get to see the results and patients will be required to go back to the place of request.

Questions about your results

If you want to talk to someone about your results, you will need to book a doctor’s appointment. If your results are abnormal, the doctor will usually contact you and request you book a follow up. These appointments can be booked in advanced so you don’t need to call at 8am.
