Not all appointments need to be with one of our doctors. We have other clinicians that may be able to help you with your enquiry thus allowing the surgery to run efficiently for all our patients. Please ask our friendly Team on Reception if you require an appointment for the following. All the below appointments can be booked in advance except with our ANP, so you don’t need to sit in the queue at 8am. 

Introducing our Pharmacists: Shazia & Anita

Please ask for an appointment with our Pharmacists for the following: Medication Queries and Reviews for Medication, Blood Pressure, Contraception, HRT/Menopause and Depression. These appointments will be over the phone but you can request a face to face appointment when you are booking with Reception. These can be booked in advanced.

Shazia and Anita work on Mondays and Thursdays.

Introducing our Dispenser: Carol

Carol is our main contact for any prescription requests and queries including alternative medications. Carol is on option 3 or by emailing prescriptions.binfield@nhs.net. Carol works Monday to Thursday 8:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm- 5pm and Friday 8:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm- 4:30pm.

All of our Nurse appointments can be booked in advanced for the following appointments:

Routine Appointments- B12 Injections, Vaccinations, blood Pressure, Blood tests (over 80s only in surgery, with prior agreement from the GP, Medication monitoring blood tests, Coil Checks, Coil Removals, Depixol injections, Depo injections, Dressings, Swabs, Family Planning, Pill Checks, Removal of Stitches, Smears, Travel Vaccines, Zoladex/Prostap injections.

Review Appointments- Asthma, Child Immunisations, CHD, CKD, COPD, Diabetic Reviews

We have Nurses working throughout the week.

Introducing our ANP (Advanced Nurse Practitioner): Cheryl

Cheryl’s appointments are only bookable on the day at 8am and start with a phone call and if she needs to see you Cheryl will make that appointment. She can’t speak to anyone under the age of 16.

Please ask for an appointment with Cheryl for the following: Bloods, Coughs/Colds, Ears, urine Infections, recent injuries, End Of Life, Frailty Issues, Sore throats, Stomach issues, Wound issues, Acne, Gout, Blood pressure, Headaches, Hay fever, Thrush, Incontinence, skin infections.

Cheryl works on Monday – Wednesday and Friday morning.
