What is the East Berkshire ENT Service?

The Binfield Surgery ENT Service cares for people with Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) conditions. It is run by Dr Koefman who is a GP with a specialist interest in ENT and has extensive training and over 20 years’ experience in this field.

How do you arrange your appointment?

Once your GP has given you the ‘Appointment Request’ paperwork, we would like to ask that you contact us. You will be asked to quote the reference number, found just above section 1 and your password on the second page. This will enable us to put your details onto the clinic waiting list. Once we receive the referral letter from your GP we will then contact you to arrange an appointment.

Please note that we will not see your referral letter until you have first contacted us on the above number.

Your appointment will last approximately 15 minutes and will involve some questions and an examination to ascertain a likely diagnosis and best treatment plan. We try and run our clinics punctually, so please arrive in plenty of time for your appointment.

What will happen after the examination?

A letter summarising your visit will be sent to your GP. This will include the likely diagnosis and an explanation of the treatment plan.
